Car shakes!

My car's been shaking bad lately. Well, I recently popped a tire and I got it replaced and had all the wheels balanced. A couple weeks later, the car is shaking. At highway speeds the steering wheel shakes left and right and when I brake hard, it does the same thing. I took it back and got it rebalanced but it didn't really seem to fix the problem. After driving my car, I can still feel the vibration on my hands. So my question is, what else could it be? The alignment seems okay and braking is fine now. The steering wheel just vibrates now at highway speeds. Are you suppose to feel anything from the steering wheel? I remembered it being a lot smoother before I popped my wheel. The wheels are all stock except for the one I popped which is now a yokohama(sp?). Do you guys think this is related to the alignment problem that others been having with the TSX? I really don't know. My next option would be to get an alignment.

you should have replaced two tires. since the new one and the old ones are not evenly worn, that might be the cause.

never mix tire make/model on the same "axle". Front pair and rear pair being different is acceptable (but I still wouldn't do that myself).

Also be aware that the replaced tire (even with same make/model as other 3) has different wear (no wear assuming brand new) compared to the existing 3.

I popped one tire at 24k miles hitting a pothole. I decided to get new tire all around (stock tires are too expensive for what you get). And yes, never mix different tires together

Get new tires. Stock ones suck.

Get three more of the same brand and size.

Hey, i kind of have the same problem. I just got rims 18" Konig Unkowns and anytime im at 90+ MPH the car gets light and the steering wheel shakes, and iv gone 122 MPH with the stock rims and tires and i had no problem with the steering wheel shaking or feeling like the car was getting light. Im just wondering if anyone knows whats going on? Is this normal? Well....never mind i know it isn't. If you guys have any idea what i should do that would help a lot. Thanks a lot.

Get hug ring or re-balance your tires. If still shake than your rim are already bent.

The tires are still pretty new, barely 10k miles on them. And I know about tread wear. I just decided to get that one until the others wear down a bit and then do all four. But, the shaking came after the tire was replaced and I've driven it about a week or so. It was fine when it was just replaced. The problem started like a week after installation then i got it rebalanced and that helped but the shaking is now only at freeway speeds. I'm thinking it's the alignment but wasn't sure. Just thought I get some opinions first.

I got rid of my stock tires around 900 miles. Life is too short to ride on shitty stock Michelin Tires.

I replaced them with Falken Ziex 512 215/50/17. 474 bucks otd from Discount Tires. They are Excellent.
