Car humms/buzz since starting, help please
New member here. Just got a 2005 5AT with 130k miles. Car runs well, but has a humm noise, and I feel I am in the copkit of a rally car. Noise is not terribly loud, but noticeable. It comes from somewhere in the transmision -the gearbox works well, shifts perfect- but the noise only seems to subside when I put the car on reverse. In Neutral, Drive or gear, sounds like a helicopter buzz.
Now, honda mechanic told me it can be a bearing in the trans?? to just keep driving it until trans fails... Is there any way I can fix this? Does anyone know what exactly can be the problem?
As I said, the trans shifts very well and I don't want to rebuilt the whole thing for obvious reasons. Can this be solved??
Any input will be greatly appreciated!
P.D. To clarify, engine does not make any noise, it runs like a dream

Ok, the noise seems to come from the differential. I've found people in another forum with the same problem -whistle noise- ANy fix for this without having to replace the whole tranny?
Somebody has/had same issue?
