Can't shift out of park And navi not working please help!
2004 tsx 190,000 miles.
This week I started having problems shifting out of park. Can override it manually with the switch. Brake lights work, but replaced the brake switch anyways. Still having the same issue after replacing.
Second issue: navi stopped working several months ago. Husband unplugged battery and we reset codes, started working. It just quit a few weeks later. When car starts up, screen does nothing. Sometimes it will light up for a few seconds but is just a blank bright screen then goes off. Any advice?

Reverse lockout solonoid is probably bad...and it's buried under the battery...
NAVI, check and reistall fuses #7 (10A) and #32 (7.5A) in the under-dash fuse box. Then, with key in ACC position, can you hear audio? If you can, it basically comes down to either the navigation unit (screen is backlit but has no picture) or display unit (screen isn't even backlit), unless there is a short between those units.
