Can't remove last two clips holding center console trim in

So I've read through all the threads here, and I have a helms manual, but I can't seem to pull out the last two clips of my center console trim (the clips above the seat heater switches and just below the "not an ashtray bin") Any advice? All the other clips came out, albeit with hell of a lot of force. At this point I'm pulling up so hard that I can actually feel the plastic snapping. It doesn't seem like it should take this much force. Is there a better angle I need? I have my hands underneath the shift boot and everything. I'm pulling reaaaaally hard, but neither one will budge.

Did you remove the 'Not an Ashtray' compartment? As I recall, that has to be done first.

Wait, what? How could I remove that part if the two last screws that the "not an ashtray" bin in are hidden by the center console in the first place? I'm pretty sure you can't remove that bin without first prying up the center console (plastic around the shifter). Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

I finally got em out by prying around the side of the center console. That sucked!

Wish it were true, but I completely scratched up my center console That's a $150.00 part I gotta buy now. Lesson learned: be careful AND gentle. I hate how the plastic trim in our cars is sooo easy to scratch. It's especially noticeable if you have the quartz interior. One slight scratch in the gray and it will catch your eye forever.
