Camber problem!!!!!

Well my mom took my car and I don't know what she hit but it made my rear right camber all screwed up. Can I take it to factory and get it fixed or will I have to get a camber kit for them to fix it?

Take it back to your dealership, they'll repair it. Only, they might have to replace some suspension parts and it might not be done on warranty.

I hope whatever she hit was a stationary object. If not, and it was crawling around, it isn't crawling around anymore! It'd take a pretty good hit to screw up the suspension links or the hub...

Well, I took off the wheel and inspected the suspension and I don't see a thing wrong with it. No damage to the parts. It must have shifted one of the bars a little when it was hit. Do you think I could fix it by taking it apart and putting all the links back together?

If nothing is broken, logically one would think anything that can be done, can be undone. I believe there's a certain amount of play in the rear, have your dealership check it out.

Not if something is bent. Take it to the dealer. And make your mom pay for it.

My dealer told me that they will waranty my alignment up to 12k miles. Of course I put on springs now so I will have to pay to have it done. Take it in to the dealer and have them do a 4 wheel alignment. Make sure you get a print out before and after the alignment.

I called Acura and they said they can't fix camber. I check over and over again and nothing seems bent at all. I just think it just shifted the angle of one of the links. Well me and my friend are gonna work on it and hopefully we get it strate if not I'll just buy a camber kit i guess. Thanks for the input.

There's no camber adjust on the stock suspension links. That's why we have to buy camber kits when we lower the car. If your camber has changed drastically without an aftermarket camber adjust, then something is bent. A camber kit will not help you. Take it to the dealer.

You definitely don't want to buy a camber kit to correct for collision damage. That's just masking the problem not fixing it.

My friend and I looked at it again and couldn't see anything bent or damaged, but when you take a look at the wheel it looks so awkward. The more I look at it I cant' really tell if its camber or toe or both. I will take it to the dealer to take a look at this week. Oh yeah, another thing, When I drive I can hear a noise coming from the right rear but its not the tire and it is a very constant sound. The faster you drive the louder it is. I can't see anything rubbing. Any other ideas about whats wrong other than suspension links cause I checked and its not the suspension links as far as I can tell.

You probably also need a new wheel bearing. That could very well be the cause of the sound.

You won't be able to see bends that cause single digit degree changes in camber. Take it to the DEALER!
