A/C problem

I have had a problem with my A/C shutting off on me. When it automatically shuts off I can get it to blow cold air again by turning off everything lowering the temp to "lo" and turning the fan on and then the A/C and after trying this a few times normally it will work fine.

Any ideas what this could be? Is my A/C going to die like I have read in some other threads?

Sounds to me like it is the AC relay. I'd go to the dealer and tell them you think the relay is bad and ask them to change it. They may want to do a full diagnosis.

Is this something that I can do manually, or better to have the dealer do?
