a/c noise

I'm having some noise when the a/c turns on. There is a faint vibration when it's on and I was wondering which part I should investigate.

How old is the car, cuz some noise and vibration is normal.

And...um...someone's gonna scream that you should have put this in the Problem and Fixes forum.

Let this be a lesson for you Dan.

I can feel when the A/C compressor engages but I can't say its a vibration or a noise that would raise my concern. So, I don't think I have the same problem.
