So today as I was lifting up my console to get something inside, the plastic lever broke off. I didn't even pull on it hard. It seems to be a clean break and the only possible way to fix it other than replacement is glue. I only have 10K miles on my car. Any thoughts?

 

A couple of people have had this problem. You can get a replacement at Acura or see if they'll replace it for free

Just a cheap little plastic piece that you can get separately. My dealer was nice enough to replace mine for free while I had in there getting the taillight recall done.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I scheduled an appointment for today. I'll keep you updated as to what they decide.

 

I took it into Superior Acura Overland Park, and they fixed it.. no problem. Great service.

I'm still confused as to how they fixed it. I looked around to see if the piece could be replaced, and it seems one would have to replace the whole tray or console lid to fix the button (other than gluing it). Maybe I didn't look hard enough?

It's an 06 btw.
