Braking and thumping

This just started about two days ago.

Braking from any speed, I can feel a thumping on the break pedal and I can also feel it in the car and hear it as well.

Can't be the rotors, it just started out of no where.

Any thoughts?

How rapid? How frequent? How intense?

Could be everything from a flat spot on the tire to the brake master cylinder. Need more specifics.

I would say that it sounds like it follows the revolutions of the wheel. It depends on my speed of course. It happens every time I brake. It's not that intense where the car is lunging, but I can feel it on the brake pedal and sense it in the car.
