brake trouble

i noticed when im braking the car stops just fine but at the very end, just before the car comes to a stop it makes a wierd noise, like a little jerking, sort of like when ABS is activated even tho its defenatly not, and i feel it in the pedal, its like they slip at the end. got plenty of pads left about 8mm. thanx.

i noticed the rotors have some groves around them, not very flat and smooth. strange that the hawk hps pads have worn so unevenly and quickly, they are like half gone in 7k, the oem ones were half at like 16k!

Interesting. So many others have had good luck with these pads. I just ordered both front and rear sets myself. Hopefully your case is a rare case.

You must be catching the down side of a slope or slippery part of the road where they have just sealed. Mine does this in one spot everytime, its your abs or traction control turning on for a split second. Unless it happens every time then i wouldn't worry about it.

It sounds like those Hawk pads are chattering - whenever you deviate from stock pads, some other issues are bound to happen. If you are just using the vehicle for street driving, you should use OEM or equivalent pads.

Did you change your pads and rotors, or just your pads? If you just changed your pads, you probably have a build up of the old pad material in some section of one of your rotors that is slipping when your new pads get to that area of the pad. It's so fast when you're moving fast that you wouldn't notice it, but would notice it when you get to slower speeds because it would be more pronounced.
