Is the "box" next to the steering wheel being used for anything? wanted to know if I could make use of this area to be a coin drawer or the like. Is it possible? Anyone had done this? Thanks.

stick your head under the dash and look.

the box isnt used for anything, but you need to look because its very easy to stick your head under the steering wheel to see if there is anything in the way as there might be wires right there.
