I have a 2007 TSX. I have heard from about 1/2 of the people I chat with on the hands free bluetooth technology in the TSX that it sounds like I am in a tunnel or far away and they can't hear me. Others state that the volume is fine - has anyone had problems with the bluetooth system and having the party on the other side hear you. Thanks. I asked the dealership and they said its probably my phone - not ready to buy a new one yet. Hoping to get input from others.

 

I don't know if it will help with your situation, but I have found the following tricks to be helpful:

1. Make sure the volume on your phone is not at maximum; I keep mine one-setting down from maximum. I was told this when I was having problems with a RAZR and it worked, and I continue to do it with my Sony Ericsson phone.

2. Turn down the fan when using HFL as the center vents interfere with the mic.

3. Face the mic when speaking.

and lastly...

4. Slow down. Above 65 (too much road noise), the HFL is useless for me which really sucked on long road trips.

 

I've had a few callers say they can't hear me ... and it seemed to be that I was traveling from cell tower to tower.

Micvog's advice is all good. I would also say DON'T YELL into the mic. Keep your tone of voice low.
