I was leaving a restaurant today with my girlfriend and due to the ridiculous rain we were having I backed over a rather large rock that was on the edge of a flower bed. I never even saw it because of the limited visibility but the loud noise made me cringe and I stopped just after I hit it.

I took a look afterward and it looks like the left exhaust/muffler was hit directly by the rock pushing it towards the front of the car. It also scrapped up the bottom edge of the bumper. The impact lodged the muffler against the edge of my bumper.

I managed to de-lodge the muffler from the bumper and re-attach it to the hook but its no longer centered between the cut outs on the bumper.

I still can't believe I did this but I'm hoping I didn't do further damage then what I can see. Is it possible for me to bend this back to center or should I take this to my mechanic to have him look everything over? What concerns me most is that its not only not centered now but its also recessed more then the other side. I will post pics once I get home but I hope its safe to drive for now since I have a 2 hr drive home.
