One speculation from my experience is that going too much over speed bump or accidentally pottholes.Try to avoid this as much as possible.
If you drive this kind of condition regularly, DO check your front axel for leakages.

I have this problem. I have no idea how long this has been leakin for but I was told I need to replace the whole axle assembly and shaft bearing. Acura wants 700 just for the parts. Does anyone know wherei can find everything cheaper?

I just had this problem fixed on my car. I replaced the driveshaft and seal cause it was making my steering shake and it turned out after I did this it went away for about 3 days then came back. I went to a tranny expert which works on only track modded cars and he test drove it then I found out my differential in the tranny was gone which I just found another tranny and replaced it otherwise it would be a rebuild which would run me 800 ...but I got a tranny with lifetime warranty and it was only 650. I suggest you check your tranny asap

Ahh hell. Well I hope its not the tranny but I do know for sure my axle is bad because all this grease is all over and outside of the boot..there's sometimes a clunk noise when I press on the gas. It doesn't shake as bad as it used to but when I just let off the gas it shakes from 30 - 20

Hi,

I took my car for regular oil change and the rep told me they need to replace the right axle seal and it is leaking transmission fluid and they quoted $190/-.

Is this the right price most of the people charge ??

Thanks
Mars
