2004 TSX non-nav

Replaced a dead battery and ever since the audio/hvac backlight won't shut off. Drains the battery overnight. Runs fine after jumped and let the battery charge back up. Controls and radio work after entering the code. Turn off the car and lock up, but backlight just never goes out. Instrument panel and all other interior and exterior lights seem to behave normally.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30mins (positive and neg terminals) to try to reset everything?

 

I haven't actually disconnected the terminals, but it did sit dead for 24 hrs before I jumped it again and still had the problem. I will give that a try though just in case.

 

Did you ever figure this out?
