Anyone have the Windshield noises repaired?

As the weather is getting colder and the problem seems to be getting worse I'm curious if anyone has had this problem repaired at a dealer under warranty. You know the noise, windshield creaking especially on uneven road surfaces. How widespread is this problem?

I like your thinking, however, if I remove every part that rattles, I will be left with the steering wheel and the left rear tire

Thanks Wsklar. Been there. That post says nothing about anyone getting it fixed. What have you done about it.

There have been two types of "fixes". Myself and others had the dealer lube the windshield molding with silicone, but that seems to fix it for a bit and then it comes back. You can also try to open the trunk and move around the black molding that is where the wipers sit. I tried that with no luck.

So to answer your question, no it has no fix yet. Sorry.

Windshield Rattle Fix

hey guys,

My windshield too was making a wicked creaking sound. I brought it to my dealer, and they installed a new winshield with brand new urethane and moldings. It fixed the problem completely. They told me that it's been a common prob and the new winshield and moldings is the best fix.

TSXCG, what dealer in NY did you go to? I brought it to Rallye but they told me they did not hear the noise and to come back when it does...
