Amplifier problems.
Hey everyone,
I have a sort of a problem that rarely happens but when it does it bugs me the whole day. I have a 500/1 Jl amp and a Jl w3v3 12'' sub. Sometimes when im on the road the bass just completely goes out and i check my trunk and the green light for the power on the amp doesnt go on but i can still basically hear about half of the bass playing.
What is wrong?
Wrong wiring?
Not enough power?

The mods will probably ask you to post this in the audio/video section.
Where did you get this installed? Definitely sounds like a wiring issue. Hard to tell what it could be without seeing it, but I would just check the wiring for anything that is loose. Also verify that when the bass stops, that the amp is in fact turning off.

ttefabian, please post this question in our Audio & Video Forum. It will get better visibility there for people familiar with audio systems. Plus, this isn't so much a TSX issue as it is an audio system install/wiring/troubleshooting issue.
