AC condensor has a puncture
My AC condensor has a puncture from a little pebble and the damn thing wont come out with cold air. I want to fix it but itll cost at least $600 if I do at the dealership. Does anyone know where I could get that shit fixed for cheaper because Im dying without fucking AC. thanks

Well, I asked the question back in May after Sauceman’s condenser took a fatal hit, and here’s a chance to ask again: How many others has this happened to? (Didn’t get any responses the first time I asked.) My condenser was KO’d within a few months of my taking delivery. (Bought the car in October of 2003 and the condenser was hit during the winter that followed.) The service adviser at my local dealer said the warranty wasn't applicable because the damage was done by an "outside force." An attempt to get assistance from Acura client relations failed. Then, to my surprise and relief, my local dealer’s service manager decided to replace the condenser under warranty as a "good will gesture." For anyone who hasn’t already noticed, the TSX condenser is something of a sitting duck for road debris. It’s vulnerable because of where it’s positioned and how little there is in front of it.) I’m hoping I won’t be the first person to have a condenser nailed twice, because I’m almost positive that the “good will gesture” was a one-time thing.
So, how many other victims have there been, and how have those situations turned out? Anyone else get free replacement from their dealer? Anyone get help from Acura (the corporation)? (I’d certainly be surprised if anyone did.) I think I recall reading that someone was going to get his insurance company to foot the bill.

HorRo, just look through the main (center) opening in the front bumper and you’ll see it. Looks much like a radiator. It may be offset slightly toward the passenger side of the car; without going outside to look, I can’t be sure. Putting mesh in that bumper opening (as some people have done for aesthetic reasons) may be the way to go.
