While making my morning commute into work I stopped by my local Starbucks. I noticed that they had just started putting your coffee and muffin in a drink carrier. I stupidly sat the drink carrier in my passenger floorboard instead of taking the coffee out and putting it in my console.

After making a turn, the entire Venti sized black coffee spilled over coating my floormat and seeping under it onto the carpet. It took me less than 2 minutes to get to work where I sopped up as much as I could with paper towels. I then immediately took it to a car wash/detail shop down the road and left it with them to shampoo the carpet.

I just called the guy and he said he has tried 3 different times to get the stain out with no success. I have the gray interior. Has anyone else had coffee spilled on their interior carpet, and if so have you had any luck in getting the stain out, and if so what did you use? Thanks for any response.

 

That guy you gave it to must have a shitty extractor. A fresh coffee spill should be no problem. Take it to someone else...
