2008 TSX - rear brake pads
If you do alot of driving that involves stop and go driving or using jamning on your brakes then replacement would be normal. I do mostly highway driving so they are still good.
I had to replace my rear brakes at around 30,000 miles. Acura service department must have used a different type of brake pad because I've gone 45,000 miles on the rear pads with 80% still left after my last inspection. My driving habits have not changed in 5 years.
While getting my tsx serviced a few weeks ago they measured the brakes-the fronts have 80% life and the rears have 60% life-
I went about 67,000 miles before needing rear brake pad replacement. Apparently, the braking bias is set so that the rear brakes wear out first - (I never had a car wear out its rear brakes before - and some of my cars went 100,000 miles before needing front pads and never needed rear pads).

I had 32,000 miles on mine and I'm running 20" by 8.5" rims on it. Acura told me the wheels added to the extra wear. I didn't believe them so I asked the Tire Rack and they agreed this is not unusual and the dealer wasn't telling me a lie.
