Ok so hear goes, my engine light had been on for months because, got checked at acura and was told it was a bad primary 02 sensor, replaced it, light went out for a day and came back on, the first time I fill the car with gas afterwards the car cranked over and over and barely started. It did start after a few tries, replaced spark plugs a few days later, filled up with gas again and had the same issue but much worst and acually had to press gas pedal to the floor to get the engine to catch. Once started it didnt want to keep running either for the first 30 sec but after that it would be fine. I didn' t have any probs previous to changing 02 sensor other than the check engine light saying the sensor was bad. I havnt brought the car back to acura to put back on the com but was hoping someone had similar issues, could it be coincidence or unrelated to the 02 sensor... Thanks

I had a similar problem on my old 04 rsx, turned out to be the starter motor that needed replacing

 

My car cranks over just fine, but seems to have trouble starting when refilling on gas, could it be a faulty gas cap, could that couse those sort of problems?

 

I'm having the same problem w/my TSX as Xinger....wondering if you could advise as to what the problem was?

Perhaps the sensor was OK but something was fouling it. Now the new sensor is getting fouled too. Perhaps at start-up?

Second thought, wrong sensor either used or replaced?
