2004 manual TSX sputtering/bogging and fluctuating idle
Yesterday I Was in 3rd getting in the freeway and I noticed the car start lightly sputtering/bogging. So light I almost didn’t feel it. Started up shifting and it stopped. Tried to replicate the problem later on but it would only do it sometimes very lightly. I just bought this car by the way and I thought it might be the transmission fluid so I decided to not drive it till I changed it. Today I needed oil for my other car and decided to take the Acura. I get about 5mins from my house and think “let’s see if it does it again” I get up to 3rd gear and it gets up to 4-4500 RPM and starts doing it again. This time you could clearly feel it. I turned around and just went home. On the way back home I seen if it would do it in 2nd gear and once it got to 4-4500 RPM it started doing it. Didn’t get a chance to test the rest of the gears. By the time I was pulling in my driveway it was sputtering/bogging non stop, even in neutral. Sat in the driveway for a minute and the RPM was just fluctuating up and down along with the sound like your reving and letting go over and over pretty fast. Along with the check engine light. I ended up cleaning the MAF sensor and it stopped fluctuating but there is still a check engine light and I haven’t drove it to see if it starts doing it again one I hit that RPM range.
Ignition coils?
heres a video on how to diagnose and repair, if its the problem. You can buy a used OEM coil for $20 but it might take awhile to receive. Please report back on how you resolve the problem. Everyone posts their problems but rarely update their solution!

Scan the ECU to see what codes are causing the check-engine light.
I think AutoZone will let you borrow or rent one.
I don't recommend buying a used coil if that's the problem.
Buy one from here (I recommend NGK): https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...tion+coil,7060
If it's a coil you typically get a P0300 though P0304 misfire code.
The last number is the cylinder with the problem and 0 is random or undetermined.
