2 issues with the New Car

First off I need to start by saying that I LOVE my new 06 CGP TSX w/Navi. That being said, it is going in to the shop tonight for 2 issues that I thought I would bring up on the boards and see if anyone else is having the same issues.

1.) Not always, but sometimes the windows squeal real loud when rolling the window down or up.

2.) For some reason, at random times the center A/C Vents stop blowing air, and then after quite a long time, begin blowing it again and then stop. It is not like it is just slowing the fan speed down...it completely stops blowing from the center vents. And before people ask, this is with the A/C set to AUTO. I tried it on manual settings and I want to say the same happened.

Has anyone else experienced any of these?

Mine do that too, but I think it has something to do with moisture. It only does it when the windows are wet, and not when they are dry.

My wipers also make a scraping noise on the windshield.

I first thought the AC thing could be the Nav slowing it down, but then I realized it was when the Navi wasn't being used.

As for the windows, it is more noticable when wet. Since it is well known, what is the resolution?

I wonder if the A/C thing is normal. Maybe, when on AUTO, the desired temperature has been reached so the fan only goes on when the temperature starts to drift from the setpoint.

I considered that, also because the wife has dual zone turned on so I thought that may make a difference but it didn't...and the blast of air that comes out is rather strong when it happens...

does it have to do with your driving? sometimes i notice that it turns on when the sun sensor gets sun, and if you turn into some shade or out of the direct sunlight it shuts off again...

No, I don't think so since this happens in rain or sun, shade or bright. Problem is this, on the way to the dealership, it started working so of course they can't reproduce. As for the windows, they said they just needed to have the rails greased...

Its probably a bad fan then. My guess would be that the lower fan speeds don't work (controller or contacts problem) so you don't feel anything until the A/C logic decides to kick the fan up to a higher speed at which point you do feel the air. Just my guess though.

It's a new car, just give it some time to break in.
