i put an aftermarket stereo, all new speakers, a subwoofer and back up camera in my 07 TSX. It worked fine for about 2/3 months then randomly started shutting off and back on while driving. First it was just the stereo off and back on, then the stereo and dash would shut off and back on. Eventually it got worse and now when it shuts off during my commute the car flickers off and on about 5 times, sends me dash light such as check engine, VSA, Battery, ABS system the WHOLE show. Also the car will go a week without shutting off if it wants too. i’ve tried a different stereo and have the same problem. plz help me i love this car 🥺

 

Sounds like it could be a ground issue as well as the alternator giving out. The stock alternator isn’t designed to accompany that much draw on the electrical system, even with a mild set up. I would look into a high output alternator regardless of the condition of your current one.

 

check your battery cables, likely the clamps have corroded or are loose
