07 TSX Check TPMS System
07 TSX Check TPMS System
Hi All,
Last week while driving I got the Check TPMS system error on the console. All four of the tires were reading just before this error came on. When I go into the tire pressure reading all 4 tires are showing the two dashes. I'm surprised that the sensors are original to the car and they had a good life. I will be replacing them when I change out the tires either this month or next.
My concern is that the receiver might be the issue here. Is there something that can help determine this? I'd like to start sourcing a receiver if this is the issue.
Thanks

Ok we had some warmer 80 degree weather in the past few days. Last night I went out to the grocery store and the error was there. Driving back I noticed that the warning light was off. The tires were all reading pressure. I would assume this is an issue people in the past were experiencing with their receiver when it gets cold it starts having issues. I guess a replacement is in order. I am not sure if I should even pursue this given that a new unit is like $400 and all of the used ones are going to be as old as mine. I may get those tire caps that read the values inside. Must be some solder joint that is starting to fail.
