Today I noticed my trip computer located in the navigation "info" menu is not functioning. It does not display any data such as the mpg, E/T, mileage, not even the MPG bar while I'm driving. Anyone have any idea as to what the problem could be?

Upon further digging into this matter, I found that when I access the service menu and run the B-CAN and F-CAN tests they both fail with NG. I also get a fail for FI-ECU and METER in the Navi System (Link) test.

 

You need a shop manual to extract codes and follow diagnostic procedures. I bought mine from automanualsource.com for $22, a download manual.

Having the same issue. Anyone have suggestions? Checked for loose wires connecting to the navigation unit as well as the wiring next to the passenger foot area.
