I bought this Car about a week or week and a half ago and 2 days ago I was coming home from work the dash lights and all the lights started flickering so I pulled over turned the car off and back it wouldn't start back so I checked the battery cables and was able to tighten the terminals and get it home then bought new terminals so now it starts but the lights don't work on the air and heat controls the vbs light is on and the check engine light is on but the radio and the clock is not working at all please help could it be just the battery is to low or something that is not gonna cost me as much as the car did

 

Unforturnately, it sounds like your alternator is failing. There are many threads on here with the same symptoms that you are reporting, and it happened to me at ~150k

 

Check engine grounds. They can erode over time and wreak havoc to the electrical system.
