Lost Diamond Ring

Hi,
Last night my diamond ring fell to floor of my Honda HRV while my husband was driving and I was in the passenger seat. I went to drop it in the coffee holder and it slipped to the floor. We can't find and I am worried it fell out of the car.

Any help would be appreciated.

i remember this similar issue being reported before, i cant remember the solution. did you check the garage link at the top or use the search function? there is a wealth of knowledge of people who already experienced similar issues and you might be able to find a solution?

do you have aerodynamic holes drilled in your floor whereby it could have fallen out of the car?

Also did you make sure you were looking in your Honda and not in a similar looking Honda whose keys you picked up from the bowl?

Check where the seat bolts to the floor, there's usually a plastic cover covering the bolt which can be a bit tricky to see around...plus, there's usually a pocket there where it could get stuck. Other that, maybe there's an opening into the center console.

No, there shouldn't be any holes open to the exterior of the car and your ring is in there. Good luck!

I don't know if the HRV has electric or manual adjust seats on the passenger side (I've never been to HRVZine either), but if you put the seat all the way forward and then all the way back and feel/hear a crunching or grinding noise, that's probably the ring in the seat track.

Magic Johnson has survived for over two decades with HRV, man.
