I got them last week and just got them put on today. The wheel and tire weight 37.5 lbs which is approx 9.25 lbs lighter than the previous setup. Also, 3 out of 4 wheels didn't require any balancing weight at all. The 4th one only required 15 grams on one side.

Always enjoyed pics of your car. The former TL rims inspired me to put them on my own CG. I also love the drop, its perfect. The new rims look nice what size? Dont worry, not going to copy you again hehehe. Got a set of TL Aspec 18" Chrome on the way.

Once again, very nice, clean, and perfect drop. Are you still running the sportlines in the pics?

Thanks for the compliments. It now has Tein Flex and lowered to the same height as the Eibach Sportline. The rims are 18x8 +48.

Very nice. Out of curiousity, how new is the GT2 wheel?

Reason I ask is because I haven't seen it until just recently and I like it slightly better than the Competition. I probably would have opted for it rather than the Comps had I been able to find some back when I got mine.

I'm not sure how new it is, but it won't be available anymore from Tirerack once they are gone. I believe they've already discontinued the Comp in Anthracite w/polished lip.

That's nice, Johnny!

Now I have another choice of wheels when I go shop for the race wheels for my Prelude.

Thanks guys! I've been thinking what to do with the extra clearance between the spokes and the brake caliper. BBK would be nice.

Those new SSRs look sweet, Johnny. I need to post up some pics of my car. Maybe I'll go do that today. Nothing too special...being that I suck at photography.

The lord blessed us with sunshine and JTso decided to let TSX out of the cage today. I just checked it out and it looks toight Johnny! If you keep driving that machine to work, you might force me to stage a Pearl Harbor styley attack photoshoot on it while it sits all alone over there by itself

JTso,

Always a pleasure to see pictures of your car. Looks great!

Do you notice any improvement in acceleration due to the much lighter rim/tire combo?

Are you running 225s or 235s?

Thanks, I do notice improvement during acceleration, especially from 1st to 2nd shift. It feels a little less bogged down from the wide spread gear ratio. Steering is more responsive as well.

The tires are 225/40/18. I'm going to try 235 when this set is worn out.

It's just a standard OEM body kit. You can get them from your local dealers or online dealers. It's usually less expensive if you get them online. I believe some Acura dealers are also selling them on ebay. Here is one.

Installation is relatively easy with two people. Installation instructions are available online.

Probably not with the drop the A-SPEC provides, which is relatively shallow.

I run Neuspeed sport springs and a set of SSR Competitions (+48 offset, same as the GT2) with 235/40s and the very edge of the shoulder will rub every now and then on the [i]very edge] of the fender lip when I hit a large bump. My tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE750s, which look as though they have a rather large sectional width, however.

A number of other members run 235/40s on high offset 18s without issue, and they run drops deeper than what A-SPEC provides. I suspect I'm a unique exception, and even so, I probably chirp against the fender lip once in a two hour road trip. It doesn't cause any perceptible mark on the tire or the fender lip, so it's not even really a concern.

In any case, I think you'll be fine.
