Pics of my friends SSM TSX and my Audi A4 1.8TQ *56K Really Beware*

Hey yall,
I posted, but not much (4 or 6 posts back then) on the other board under the name Sedan Guy. I eventually chose to get into an Audi A4 over a TSX only because I wanted White/Ebony color option.
So, now I'm living my past TSX dreams through my friend who recently put himself into a SSM TSX.

Here are some pics I took of both our cars:

Sorry, wanted to throw this in

Very nice pics. That A4 is lowered right? Have you got a chip in there yet?

Hi there fdl,

Yes, the A4 is lowered with Neuspeed race springs and Koni Sport shocks. The chip I still do not have, but I am aiming for the end of next month to purchase the chip.

I am already pushing my friend to start modding his TSX. I really like that car.

Advantage TSX...The Audi looks sweet, but if that was a PWP/Ebony Canadian TSX it wouldn't be close. As it stands the SSM kills it in the looks dept.

Your A4 looks great! What transmission did you get? Quattro?;(I can't really see if the badge is there or not.

Interesting stuff. But.....

Maybe it's just me -- Can y'all understand that someone would change his car choice because of color?

Hi Larchmont,

I'm really a fan of white color cars with black interiors. If they had brought the PW/Ebony to the states I would have jumped on it in a heartbeat before the A4. The other US exterior/interior color choices are great, but I've always had a white car and it has grown on me. Maybe I'm old fashion...heh

If I could play like Derek Jeter I'd be on the Yankees.

You have any pics of your A4's current interior?

I have seen a few A4s on the road (not sure which year) and their interiors seemed almost identical to an older S4 I sat in a few weeks ago. I didnt like the interior on the S4, curious if they have altered it in any way with the latest A4 model.

Great pics, the A4 does look awesome (much better than a 4 door 3 series) but it also has the advantage of being lowered. A car with no wheel gap almost always looks better.

To bad you don't live in Canada, the White/Ebony could have been yours. I'm somewhat regretting not making that choice.

Nice cars. I just wish my TSX was that clean. Damn thing is so dirty right now you could just palm the roof and your hand would come away black. THIS WEEKEND MUST WASH CAR OR DIE TRYING!

If the TSX was lowered it would trounce the A4, also the angles are different on the parking jobs. The way there parked makes the TSX look alot bigger than it is. That A4 is bitchin though.

A4 hands down in looks. Both nice, but A4 would make me look twice.

And choosing one car over another because of silver vs white???

how much a drop in that a4?

Hey Saloon Guy,

how much you did you lower your a4, front and read? I have a 2000 S4 (I think same ride height) and i want to know how much to lower my car. I think your height is perfect!!

NICE RIDE
