The only TSX set up I would do air-runners on are probably a black or white w/ Kenstyle or that VIP-stylish kit w/ 20s....that's it. Otherwise, I think it's just weird combining too much. It's cool going race/OEM style w/ VIP/DUB rims, but when it's slammed to the ground to go the all VIP style, I think it's just not right.
But...baller none the less

what makes you think airrunner is for vip??? they have it for tons of kcars and even skyline, rx-8, eclipse....is because most vip guys do air doesn't mean air=vip

If it's all that BS saying, oh, I want to have a slam look but when i go up the curbs and speed bumps, I need to raise the car cuz i am too lazy. Then man, don't drop your car like it's hot if you are too pussy to scrap your lip or too lazy to go in at an angle.

^ Honestly, the only time I would get air-runners is for a VIP platform car, a potential VIP styled car (K cars included as some Japanese people have done a nice job nonetheless), and on cars which already DO come with air suspension, such as the Mercedes Benz CLS, S-class, and others...

If you get air-runners and you don't slam your car, then what's the point? I rather pay half the price and get some decent coilovers which give both performance and look. Or, unless you want to be a low-rider wannabe and go one wheel up and one wheel down rolling like Latino style.

i think you need to ride in airrunner car before making this comment, airrunner is not the same as other american brands of air such as easystreet airride tech chassic tech etc.
guys in hawaii buy air because not they are pussy to ride slam. is that coilover don't drop enough for us in hawaii

what size wheels are on the rear cause with my car slammed on coilovers (tein flex) with my 9 inch wide in the rear with a +47 offset and a 5mm spacer, when I crank the camber to make the wheel fit in the wheel well and not rub it hits the bottom lock perch. so now I am either going to roll my fenders and do 15mm spacers or only roll them a little get extended studs and run a 7mm spacer. anyone know how bad it would be to run the coilvers spun all the way down without the bottom lock collar in place.

Yes, i know I never ridden on airrunners, but judging on some of the comments that I have found on the web, I still think coilovers out-perform airrunners. If you guys take the cars with airrunners to the track and compete with a set of coilovers and show me some numbers, then I will have nothing to say.
I never directed to you hawaiian guys saying you are too pussy to ride low, but I am saying that some people out there get airrunners or air bags because they are too pussy to ride slam all the time. And I mean, some rolling shots of slammed cars on smooth roads mean nothing. You could drive normal height most of the time and when you have some rolling shots, you can just slam your ride. As a matter of fact, lots of people in Japan do that as hell, as Japan's roads are like hell. But there are still people who ride low because they can afford to crack a few lips. And I think a new set of coilovers can reach that height no problem. I am dropped tucking my tires in and about a Razar V3's height from the ground up. It's not that low but my coilovers is only on half way, so I am sure I could've drop more if I wanted to.

i don't know about other states but in hawaii we stick to this
"the purpose of air suspension isn't to park really low, and drive like a 4x4. It's to drive really low, and park it even lower"
come on who the hell would spent 5k on airrunner to ride high...waste money.
and those owners who can't afford to buy air they buy shorter springs on their coilover. when was the last time you see a car from hawaii is high? we get our share of bs pot hole roads too.
