Thanks to a jack-hole that did'nt know how to back up, OR leave a note, I know have a new grill. I got this grill from racing_raven on E-bay, and am very happy with the fit and Finnish.

In this pic, if you notice the black vinyl on the hood, this was a "TEST LOOK" I wanted to see what it would look like when I get the OEM carbon fiber hood. Where the black is, will remain carbon fiber, and the middle of the hood will be body color. Should look great once I get the roof painted black!

Now I need your advice.. Should I paint the spoiler body color, or keeping in mind the paint scheme I have in mind with the carbon fiber hood, and the soon to be painted black roof, should I paint the spoiler black?

I'd say paint the spoiler body color.
I don't like the hood look you have going, but that's just my opinion.

might as well get a cf trunk and paint that lip spoiler black while you're at it =)

how easy was the installation for the grille?

Thanks guys. As for the install, I had the body shop do it. My friend owns the shop. We did a test fit first before paint, and the fit was great. He did have to drill out the mounting holes , but that was nothing. Got it installed and painted for around $120. Won the grill for $24.99. Not bad if you ask me.

Hmm this makes me wonder about the carbon fiber version. I wonder if fitment would be similar

Yeah, I saw that also...after I won this one, lol I would think it would fit fine. I saw a few posts on that, but I don't remember where.

Wow fitment looks great. I had my share of replica parts and they always fit like crap. Cost more trying to get it to fit right rather than just buying the real thing. Anyways, looking good kennungesser.

i don't want to hate on you but i don't like those grills. it makes the TSX look cheap. i like the stock grill or the accord grille. but to each their own.

I KIND of agree with you. My buddy owns 05 TSX, black. He has some very cheap looking grill which makes me wonder why he even switched

i don't know, i don't think it looks sporty but i guess it all depends in what kind of style you like. im not a fan of mesh

you should follow the lines of the hood with your black, if you're going to do it.... i personally would paint the whole hood or none of it.

I have the mugen grill =p but man that was such an easy install =p didnt need to take off bumper =p
