Sorry to pee on your parade, but it doesn't look any better than stock. Different yes, but not better.
If different is what you were aiming for, then well done, but if not, ah well.......God loves a tryer.

Your grille looks wonderful and I would like to achieve the same effect on my CGP - I don't dig the huge gap the Mugen look gives you in the front of the car, and I'm generally pretty anti-chrome, so your method kills two birds with one stone. It'll stand out to anyone who knows what they're looking for, without being flashy or ricey.

Question: Did you do that yourself, or was it a bodyshop job?

Don't get me wrong I do like the chrome trim on an RL or maybe a TL, but not on the TSX.

Anyhow. I purchased the JDM hood trim. And I just took the rest of the chrome of the grill...the "V" shaped and got it painted at a local shop. I'm quite happy on how it came out.

Well this was just another mod on my list accomplished.

and yes those are Xenon match H11 fog lights.

p.s. pardon the radiator cover (not sure if that's what it is) but it looks kinda old and faded (behind the bumper) . Anyone know how to get a new one. or have it refinished?

.....and now for the 06 JDM headlights conversion soon to come.

I tried to do this months ago.
Every body shop I took the grill to said they can sand & paint the crome but since it was plastic they couldn't gaurantee the work.& they wanted between 120 & 150 for the top & bottom. Then they told me in comming years it was probably going to flake off. So I didnt bother.

Buy some white electrical tape and whack it on, then you'll be able to see (cheaply) if it looks the part or not.
My guess is not - you need some contrast with lighter coloured vehicles. The OP got away with it as his car is dark already.
That said, yours would be more obvious as a result.
So, if you do as I've suggested, let's see the results.

^^ Looks great! I'm thinking about doing the same. Have you had any problems with chipping on the new painted pieces? Do you drive on the freeway a lot?

Kenny.....
The only painted pieces I had done was the "V" shaped part. And I have the pre-painted JDM hood trim . There is no chipping on the painted chrome pieces, (knock on wood) so far. It's been through some rough weather so far, snow, rain, sleet, etc....It's holding up well I do drive on the express way from time to time and no chips or anything. Take it to a local shop, they shouldn't charge you more than $50 bucks to paint that little piece.
