My first post in 1st gen section: CL9 in Hong Kong

I'm in Hong Kong for the holidays and although I've been keeping my eyes open for a CU2, I have not seen any, but the other day I ran into a nice looking CL9. Enjoy:

That looks fantastic, the bronze RE30s are gorgeous. Nice ride.

It's interesting how that Mugen kit has the exhaust bumper plug.

Thanks for sharing, did the owner ever come around while you were taking pictures?

You're quite welcome. I was expecting the owner to come yelling at me, but nobody showed up. It would have been weird, anyway. How do you say "big brake kit" in Chinese????

Yeah talk about awkward haha!

Hey, I see you are from the Bay Area, are you ever around SSF? I think I might have seen you. There aren't a lot of modded second gen's around, let alone ones with painted grills or is that the CT CF grill add on? Either way!

I was staying in Western District, but HK is so small, I pretty much went all over the place.

Oh really? That's pretty cool. I'm mostly in the East Bay but sometimes I am in the SSF area; gone to Ranch 99 a couple of times down there.

Yep, it's the CF grill add on. Thanks for the thumbs up. I saw your Treasure Island thread and a big thumbs up to you, as well!

Oh wow, I just came back from HK this past Friday and I've been snapping pics of random CL's as well. But too bad none of them were parked so alone like the one you took a pic of, haha.

Good thread! (:
