Eibach ProKit installed (before&after pics)

I know this has been on the forum a few times, but I guess it doesn't hurt to put mine up as well...

I had the Eibach ProKit installed 2 days ago. I added some pics from similar angels before and after for comparison :

Had the kit fitted and aligned by the official dealer I bought the car (and all my previous cars) from. No camber kit necessary. I was plesantly surprised by the ride comfort during normal driving. Looks have improved and so did handling. I'm really happy with this mod.

It looks much better, but there is still quite a bit of wheel gap.

The clear headlights are standard in europe (EuroAccord).

Hmmm.....so you had the dealer align huh? How much does the dealer charge for alignment? And what would the difference be to go to the dealer to get aligned rather than a places like Direct Tire, Sears, etc...

The Rear Ingalls Camber Kit is backordered so maybe I'll just install the Eibach Pro System Kit when I get them and also get it aligned. If its really bad, then I'll put the rear camber kit on.

I hope they've settled in by now, he installed it last August. I just brought the thread back to life, LOL.

Nice thread resurrection VB

The Eibach pro kit looks like the type of drop I'm looking for. The Prosystem is starting to look more and more tempting!

what size tires are you running? That wheel gap after the drop is still pretty massive. I'm dropped on eibach prokit too, but wheel gap is about half of yours, odd... Do you have 5AT or 6MT?

I should call up TireRack today to see if the kit got to their facility and if they've sent it out yet. Supposedly it should of gotten in yesterday to their facility and would ship it out right away. I want to lower my car soon...though the rear camber kit won't be coming in anytime soon. I'm wondering if I should wait for everything to come in before getting it aligned?

Most definitely you should wait until you've put all the parts in and wait a few weeks for the springs/struts and everything to settle down before doing alignment. If you're installing the suspension by yourself, it'd save you couple some time by doing the suspension along with the cambers.

You should just wait for everything to come in and get it all taken car of at once. Alignment should be done later after the springs settle just like KaiKai said.

Thanks for the input guys!

I will be doing this install on my own (w/ my bro probably) and I will wait until I get the Rear Ingalls Camber Kit before getting it realigned. I'll just install the Eibach kit if it comes in before the camber kit though, just so that the springs can start settling in.

btw. did you install everything on your own? Did you need another person to help you out with any of the install? ie. in my integra when I had to remove the system, it was easier to maneuver the system if someone was standing on the rotor while the other person took the system out. This also goes for installing the new system in.

I did everything by myself, pretty simple and straight forward. For the rear, I had to hold the suspension with one hand and have one foot stepping on the brake rotor in order to get the bottom locking place out of the housing. That's probably the only hassle i had, other than that, everything was quite easy. The eibach system you're getting is preassembled right (springs/shocks)?

I don't believe they'll be assembled because I have to use the top mount from the stock suspension and transfer it to the Eibach Pro-System Kit. So it'll be more work than installing the A-Spec suspension.

He's running 225/45/17, so that would show more gap, plus I'm guessing it hasn't fully settled yet...I remember 007Bondgirl's drop, it looked high the first day too......
