looking at the JDM headlights, it looks like theyre just blackhoused with a clear diffuser replacement for the original orange one. i know thats what most JDM headlights do instead of taking out the orange piece completely..does anybody know if you can purchase these clear diffusers anywhere?

Yeah it looks good. I was thinking about taking the orange out and placing some tint on the inside of the cover. The tint would be silver/mirror tint and would be placed only where the orange area is. What do you think?

It should work fine but it might look a little weird. I think normal tint or the spray-on stuff would be the way to go.

I'm probably going to try and do it this weekend. Tho I've never done this before. I understand you first take the front bumper off, then the headlight housing. Place the headlight housing in the oven @ 200 degrees celsius to melt the glue holding it together. Carefully pull it apart and remove the orange reflector, apply tint and reverse steps to finish? If I missed anything please let me know or if there are techniques/ or traps I should watch out for. I've never done anything like this before. Will the oven damage the lights/light houseing at all?

don't forget to put a moist towel under the headlights if you're gonna put it in the oven. 175 degrees for about 9 mins should be fine too.
