Corner Light Mod

BDI and I met up to do the mod yesterday. I dont have pics of BDI's car as it was too dark to take pics when we finished. Hopefully he'll post pics soon.

Well I didn't go with black coz we were running low with the black tint spray. I had no choice but to go with the silver tint and mixed some black with it. It actually came out better than I thought it would come out.

better take a picture at night time. so we can take look the difference at night. also what want to see how is the reflector workes well or not at night. 1 more question. must take off the bumper then were able to take off the lights?

whoa, that is niice... im really liking that... did you just take off the orange piece and then paint the cover or something... howd you do it, and how long did it take

We took opened up the headlights and painted the orange reflector itself.

It took way too long. :o



I need to recharge my battery in my camera but i'll take night pics asap.

How hard was it to do that? I would love to do it and take out the blinker but i dunno about my skils. So how complicated was it to do that?

got any pics of the headlight w/o the amber insert in at all? you put the reflector back to try and keep it DOT legal?

i'm thinking about just taking the insert out and using an amber bulb. there tons of cars here at school w/ cleared lights and absolutely no reflectors at all.

We put the pieces back in because without it, the headlights had an "empty" look to them.

A combination of silver and black tint spray. I have no idea what brand it is coz I bought it at a Japanese Market.

Nice overspray on the parquet floor there. And what, newspaper's not good enough for you? Those look like surgical dressings... Nice job on the mods, tho'.

Anyone have a picture w/ it empty? Looking at the Euro-R, does it have a silver colored insert instead of the amber one we have?

It'd still be illegal. For one it's not amber, and it doesn't reflect amber. It's not even a sidemarker anymore...

just wondering after u put the cover put ..
will it leak .. or looks foggy when in wet weather ..
cuz i kno some RSX painted their lights too ...
and many of them come out with leakin and not that fit after all ...

mine doesnt leak or fog at all. if u do it right and seal it properly, it wont leak or fog

JaTe or BDI....does it still blink amber? Will it pass inspection?

BDI....What kind of front bumper do you have? (I'm currenly on a mission to replace mine).

at night it still lights amber.

i just moved from ny to nj, so i had to get my car reinspected. i went to the jersey dmv inspection station and it passed...no questions asked.

bdi has the stock bumper with the oem kit on.

The corner lights don't blink when the signals are on. They are only used for parking lights.
