Exclamation What do you guy think of this intake?

hi im new to this forum, my jdm 94 eg hatch is waiting for a swap so i want to get in the cl9 for a while. I just did this intake for $15. I buy the vortex funnel and hose clam to fit the stock tube.

This is just for now cuz it end of the day. I will take it out tomorow and put mesh in so dirt and rock will not go in the engine.

Kudos for creativity.

Points deducted for Ghetto Rig = Wouldn't personally use a mesh filter compared to High performance filters from Injen, etc...

What K&N part number is that? Or the size/model. That looks good and has to be easier on the wallet for a quality filter.

Run the car with a air filter. Having just the funnel is the beginning of internal engine damage.

One more question about the K&N intake. Did you do anything other than replace the stock filter and box with the K&N? I saw a video of someone messing with resonators behind the left front wheel. If I did this, I'd hope I'd just have to remove the stock box/filter and hook up the 3.5 diameter by ? length. Which length did you go with?
