upgrades for Acura TSX rear brake system!?

Hello ppl, need some inputs here^^
what are the rear brake system available at this point (or any that you know they'll be out for sure eventually)? instead of direct replacement rotors, i am looking for bigger sized rear rotors (cross-drilled only) that will work w/ the stock rear calipers.
so far the only one i know is from CompTech, they have a kit that's esp designed to work w/ the Brembo front BBK, besides that, anything else?!

thanks a lot guys!

i believe that rotora has a front bbk and if you ask them you will find that they have a rear bbk kit too. that's what i read on the forum a while ago. it could be wrong but shoot them an email and see what they say.

Stoptech also has a kit. The King Motorsports TSX has it. I hope you're going to do the fronts too....

Worry about the front's first. Unless you already did it.

yeah, I was stopping relatively hard a red light today and my ABS kicked in. DAMN brakes.

I mean, I was braking hard, but nto hard enough that th ABS should have kicked in. I need to know what we should do about this. I heard new brake pads help.

Tires too. Might want to try that first, and it's cheaper.

I agree.. get your bling on tires first... its a good place to start if you need more braking power. Then replace them brakes...

If the ABS kicked in it's because your tires lost grip, not because your brakes are bad. In fact it means your brakes can apply a force much higher than what your tires are capable of handling.

The #1 mod anyone should do before upgrading their brakes is to change the tires.

stock tires, combined w/ the cold and ice/snow on the ground plus salt and gravel makes for crappy stopping

rear brakes?@# why??????? Front Pads will do the trick. Rear brakes on a FWD do little to nothing. You'll be pissing money away.

thanks a lot for the inputs guys^^
i've got my front brake system taken care of with the brembo 13" BBK (13" cross-drilled rotors), i am not gonna put myself into danger by touching the rear brake alone, but ya, i've got the brembo direct replacement rotors for the rear too, i wasn't into the rear direct replacement rotors but there was like nothing out there when i purchased the kit (i got them cuz i was able to get a better deal for upgrading all 4 corners all at once), but ya...i know i'am gonna swap the rear rotors out once the bigger ones are out, so...i am not looking for the rear BBK, instead...i am just interested in the bigger sized rear rotors that will still work with the stock rear calipers, besides CompTech rear brake system, do you guys know any other rear brake system (bigger rotors, not rear BBK) that's available (or will be) at this time?

and yes, i agree with you Zapata, rear brakes basically do nothing since the front brake system of TSX takes care of 85%+ of the braking work, oh owell, i am just going or the look^O^

any information guys!?

again, thx a lot

The only brand I know that uses a larger rotor with an OEM caliper is the AEM BBK. Had it for my accord, (fronts) and they are NOTORIOUS for warping!
