Doesnt matter.. we take the wheels off to dyno..
We have a Dynapack which is a HUB Dyno, it hooks up to your wheel hubs, so there are no variables of power loss through tire inflating, wheel size, tire slippage.. etc...

We will also test the Weapon*R Secret Weapon Short Ram while the car is on the dyno..

I'm shooting for next week, if you have time..

I hope once a test fit is done, the floating flange can be eliminated. It shouldn't be too hard to create a jig for a fixed flange setup.

I second that notion against floating flange design.

I don't like the floating flange setup on the Random Tech Cat.

^^
Because it doesn't have the leak problem found on a floating flange design. Floating flange requires less work to put together whereas a fixed flange requires more precision welding to ensure the proper bolt-up. But the mock-up and welding is not hard to do on the flange.

You could just get a 2 pk of anti-foulers from Autzone for $3.

i have some but I haven't put it all together yet.

I was hoping their item would take out the guessing game about how many defoulers to stack, but at $45 for that item, I think I'll take some guesses.

I think it's different for each car, for the K24A4 accord some people need two, others need three. Plus it's muddied by the fact there are a couple kinds/sizes of defoulers. I have two sets, short, flat seated ones with crush washers and then longer ones, no crush washers, with a tapered seat.

On top of that, i have a SULEV (super ultra low emissions vehicle) smog nazi accord and it concerns me it might be more sensitive to how the defoulers are arranged.

Didn't someone around here say that a long-tubed header(race header) can't work on a TSX due to something with the VTC and the need for K-Pro?

One way of finding out for sure, isn't there?
If I was over there, you could have mine - if you threw in the RAM air as well......

Someone in the area get on this...make a 3 day sacrifice to be the first and so the rest of us can get a chance at this (I'm not saying this because my DC header is busted and I need a replacement)

Jeez, all the banter on these forums and how everyone's gonna do this and gonna do that, and Leo's still awaiting a volunteer?
Something's seriously amiss.
Surely a rental car for 2 days can be put up with for the privilege of having a new header (and CAI) fitted for nowt - not to mention the car dynoed so you can see/brag about how much it's putting out to the wheels?

:shakesheaddisappointedly:

I asked to be a test car, but he said they can't dyno an auto. I'm not sure why, when I was Comptech's SC test car they had no problems. You guys know me, I'm down
