Too cold for a proper install?

Lip spoiler finally came from xenonspecialist today.....Ive read all sorts of threads about lip spoiler installs, but none have been in cold weather yet.

Is it possible to improperly install with 3m tape due to outside temperature. The instructions make no mention of it either.

Opinions?

.......outside temp is hovering in the lower 50's all week

Ideally, you want the spoiler to be flexible enough for the proper placement on the trunk. Also, you want the adhesive to stick properly (adhesive doesn't like cold temp). You could use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the spoiler and the trunk prior to the installation.

Here's the perfect opportunity to tell the wife and/or girlfriend that you have to buy that portable propane heater to get the job done right.

It best to install the spoiler when the temperature is warm. If its too cold, the 3M tape will not adhere properly and will lift in a few months. happened to me and had to remove and re-install it in the spring.
