Wouldn't that be a downgrade? 2.4L to 2.0L...

well going to an rsx engine would open up more possibilities with k-pro being an option. there are many many more parts made for a rsx motor than a tsx motor. and bsides isnt the euro R a k20 anyways? so i dont think its really a downgrade...just another route?

You can run a k-pro on a TSX with the k24 just as well as you can run one with a k20. All you need to do is swap the throttle body for a cable actuated unit. Of course, with either the K20 or K24, you'll still lose your VSA, cruise control, HVAC, etc.

The TSX isnt designed to accommodate any V6 as far as I know. I think the 06 Si would be a great swap if you could get your hands on one. There are already so many options for that engine, including the Greedy turbo that just came out recently...But it really wouldnt make any financial sense..

Never heard of anyone swapping another engine into the TSX. However, if you're swapping engine, let me know, I'll take your K24 and dump it into my Prelude.

Depends on how old your talking. The 2nd gen (99-03) has baisically the exact same motor as the new tl. Not sure about the 1st gen but i highly doubt it with them too

Ditto. Could be done, if you want to spend some cash and lose all of this functionality. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't lose the HVAC.

Has anyone read about the 2006 Hasport Honda Civic Si. It says they swapped the engine with a TSX's engine and put on a custom turbo. But to get that much boost, they changed the ECU to the K-Pro? Is that correct?

Spend some time on the clubrsx.com boards. You'll see stuff that go above and beyond what you mentioned. There are plenty of Civics / RSX's running the k24A bottom and the K20a head with K-pro and an RBC IM.

In my opinion, a swap wouldn't make sense unless you have a stripped down TSX laying around. There are plenty of better, lighter, and cheaper chassis around.

Even if you were to swap another motor in, you still have to go get the darned thing smogged.
