Stupid Questions..

-Can I remove my OEM spoiler or do I need a new trunk?

-I want to drop my car, don't care if it results in better handling or not.. I just want it an inch lower. What's the best(most affordable) way to go?

-What's the best way to improve throttle response?

-What would a 'better' spark plug do?

Last is opinion based.. Black TSX with Black wheels w/polished lip or with gunmetal/smokey gray type look?

I know I sound retarted but I need some retarted answers.. Please don't reply with use the search button. Thanks

Well if you remove the spoiler you will need to either have a body shop fill them and have it repainted or buy a new trunk all together. Also you could post in the black market that you have a black TSX spoiler for sale and you want to swap trunks with them for there trunk without the spoiler.

there is really no proper affordable way to go an inch lower. The cheapest way I can think of getting a one inch drop is to get the A-spec suspension cause it comes with new shocks and springs. Other routes you can go are to get either comptech, neuspeed, or tein springs; then you can get some new koni shocks. I am pretty sure you will not need a camber kit with only a 1 inch drop. You could also go with a full set of coilovers but that would be more expensive. You need to specify a price range which you are looking to spend so that I can give you a better answer.

The best way to get better throttle response would probably be getting a hondata reflash. basically it reprograms the ecu to make the engine make more power. Another cheaper upgrade for some more power is to get the injen intake.

I dont know anything about sparkplugs so I cant help you there.

I personally am not a fan about black rims on black car just like I dont like white rims on a white car. My opinion is to get some gunmetal rims with a polished lip instead.

There will be holes so you either need to patch them up or you'll need a new trunk.

Best way is the Comptech springs. Buy a set that have been used to save money.

Change your driving style to accomodate for the Drive-By-Wire system. Otherwise, you'll have to remove the DBW system.

A slightly more complete burn, but if your car is relatively new, you most likely won't see much if any improvement.

1. Don't know, but whatever it takes I would remove the spoiler
2. A-spec (around $550 on e-bay last I looked) drops about .75-1", no camber kit needed
3. ?
4. TSX comes with platinum already, can't do much better
5. Having a Black TSX also I have been having a hard time with this decision. I think if I had to choose today I would go black with polished lip.

You are correct. Tough to improve upon, though replacement never hurts. They do lose performance slowly over time.

I was just stating what I was told from the Acura dealer here in Denver when I asked what kind of plugs came stock. I guess anyone can make a mistake.

It is funny, because I remember having the discusion with him about which plugs are better/more efficient (platinum or iridum). I guess there is some disagreement about which is better in the car world.

Sorry, but you both are incorrect. I researched it and TSX does come with platinum tipped spark plugs from the factory.

I would go with black on black for the rims.

True, I was just going on what I read and what I was told by the Acura tech I talked to. Everyone makes mistakes, they could be wrong. That remindes me.

I saw it on TV it must be true. Just a Simpsons line I think works in the real world. You can't believe everything you read or see (TV).
