There doesn't seem to be much parts to increase HP for the 07 auto TSX and I'm getting near the end of the line. Besides I/H/E and pullies, what other "direct bolt-on" mods can be done to keep increasing the power? I was thinking of changing camshafts and valves until I found out that without proper tuning, it's kinda pointless...

I searched on this forum but no one seems to made any mention of it. For the price, I want to give it a try if it provides some decent gains but I want to learn a bit more about "Throttle body" first. I have the icebox for intake and was wondering if it will still fit if I change out the Throttle body? Also, is there any difference between a 68 m m and a 70mm? Will both size fit on the TSX? And any side effects for changing throttle body?

I want to combine this with the P2R throttle body spacer and TB bypass mod hoping to get some higher-than-decent intake gains.

Thoughts, Anyone?

 

I wonder why they list it as applicable for the TSX. I recall contacting Skunk2 about TB's for the TSX and they said they don't have any Drive-By-Wire (DBW) TB's available. You may want to contact King or Skunk2 to confirm.

 

i've seen this before, but just assumed it didn't work b/c of the DBW. also, you could just bore out the stock TB at a cost, and at least it would still be functional.

 

Guess I'll email skunk2 for some more details then and also ask if they will be coming out with a TSX header...

I can't bore out the stock TB because I don't have a spare and I drive almost seven days a week -_-

Edit: I went and check out King's Big Bore Throttle Body service and it said... "all vechicle except NSX and DBW" so this also won't work for our TSX?

I'm really beginning to hate how we have access to all these parts that could put the TSX well over 200 whp but can't actually use it due to our ECU and DBW

 

Kings does bore TB for TSX; I can confirm you with that cause I was suppose to ship it to Kings, but I sent it elsewhere for better job. Horro has his TB done @ Kings too.

But no, all this little mod will sharpen up your throttle response, and maybe a little on the high end, but they will not shine without engine management.
