SC experts Need help

well guys i bought a 04-05 Comptech Supercharger... for a very good price lets just say i got it for almost 60% off anyways its brand new

i know that the 04-05 super charger will bolt on to my 07 anyone know if theres any diffrences between the supercharger?

also i know theres no way for me to reflash the 07 any other way for me to slap it on with tuning

some guy from k20a.org can make me a k pro harness all he needs is a accord tb and kpro before i go that route

any other way?

there is no way for you to make it work its just not possible sorry. kpro works with our car in that route but you will lose traction control, abs, ac, and factory gauges.

The physical blower used in CT's kits is the same throughout all model years.

You might want to try swapping out your ECU/immobilizer with one from a 2006 TSX. However, there are a two crucial points you need to determine first:

1) Do you have an AT or MT? If you have an AT, then there's absolutely no way it'll work since there is no S/C reflash for the 2006 ATs, so attempting an ECU swap is irrelevant.

2) Even if you have an MT, Hondata might not be willing to give you a reflash for another model year since you bought a non-06 kit (I had this issue when I was looking for a S/C). If they do, they might ask you to pay additional $$$ for it.

Of course, even if you can qualify for both of the questions above, it'll still be contingent on you being able to use an 06 ECU in your 07. This means that you'll have to find someone who will let you test a stock 06 ECU in your car before even attempting to install the S/C. If it does work, then you'll most likely have to buy a new 06 ECU/immobilizer (unless you get really lucky at a scrapyard) which I believe will run close to $1k.

As far as K-pro is concerned, I wouldn't even consider that an option. We've all been hearing about an Accord K-pro harness that might or might not work in our cars for years now, and nothing has come of it.

Bottom line, you have a lot working against you in terms of getting a CT S/C to work in your 07. However, for your sake (and for the sake of all the 07/08 guys out there), I hope it works out for you .

Hondata just needs off their rears.
I want a SC for my 08 AT now. yesterday even.

but it looks like I'm going to be waiting a couple years.
if they ever get around to it.....

If I were the OP, I'd sell the SC, it's not going to happen.

hmm from what the guy said he worked with hondata and they said they had a few k proed TSX running but they scrapped the project

due to it not being plug and play since u need to get the accord TB.. he told me i would lose the cruise control and VSA functions

I would run the kpro ecu for the engine and the stock ecu for everything else if u you check the other "fourms" they already have one SI running with kpro

No. Just go get yourself a 2006 ECU, pair it with your immobiliser and key, and then send it in for reflash. It's going to be way cheaper and less hassle.

anyways i got this other idea what if i put the supercharger in without the hondata reflash

i read on the hondata fourms that all it does is adjust cam angle, vtec point and Ignition

while the comptech ACM adds fuel and tricks the ecu from detecting the boost

no point in getting the supercharger without the reflash in tact. it would be safer, more powerful, and more efficient. do the 06 swap

if anything, you could sell me the supercharger at the 60% off price you paid it'd end all your ecu swap probs.
