remote starter on 6MT?
My mom suggested a remote starter for my car as a hannukah present, but I have a 6MT and am confused as to how it could be started without manually engaging the clutch. If this can be done could somebody point me in the direction of a good quality starter? thanks

Yeah. I have that done. You just electronically bypass the clutch with the remote start. you just have to make sure YOU NEVER REMOTE START THE CAR WITH A GEAR ENGAGED. If you're parked in front of a wall or in front of another car, you'll be sorry.
Just stick with a good aftermarket alarm like DEI or VIPER w/ remote start and you won't have any regrets.

WAS HONDATAFIED IN
i heard that in some states having a remote starter on an MT is actually illegal. now i don't know if its true or not but i did hear it before. does anyone know if its true or not??
but is there a way to bypass the clutch on the tsx? but you have to be careful not to leave it in gear, espesially when parked next to a cliff. (ok so who ordered the seabass) (if any of u actually heard that commercial on the radio, know what i'm taking about (the geico commercial) the rest just think i''m crazy)

If the installer know what they are doing and install it correctly, your car can only start by the remote start when it is not in gear. The remote start will not work if it is in gear.
I have a remote start installed in my other car which is 5MT, and I have certain procedures I have to follow when I shut off the car in order to get the remote start to work. And if I open the door and close it again, the remote start won't work, because it is a safety feature just in case someone open the door and move the car in gear from neatural.
Long story short, go ahead and install a remote starter, you will love it.
I have the CompuStart and I love it.

yeah, like they said you have to be sure not to use the remote start if you park the car in gear. There are ways to set up you car so it knows if you are in gear or not, also ways to shut down the car so that it knows that you're preparing for a remote start, you can also just bypass the clutch but then you have no security incase you or someone else leaves it in gear. I don't know why people want to get remote starter installed on their car, especially on MT!!
Today's car does not need warmup, it just need drive off slowly.... Unless they want to impress that someone?
I heard warming up your car more than 1 minutes will do more harm than good.
