It doesn't come with one.

I got one throught the dealer but it is an aftermarket one. It works very well. It would work with an auto or a manual.

You do give up a little functionality with it, but for me it justs seems like a perfect fit for the luxury TSX.

I give it

Hey excited!!!!!!

Congrats on your TSX! I have been thoroughly reading and enjoying your thread on your car =] I just started browsing this site last week or so, trying to find out as much as I can on the TSX. I almost went with an Accord EX-V6 coupe, but with some work, I was able to get the exact same car you bought! The 06 RBP with navi! Today in fact. The dealer won't be able to get me it for another 6 weeks though, but that's life, I know it'll be worth it when I get it. Anyways, thanks for your reply =]

BTW what did you end up getting? And the dealer installed it for you? Maybe I can get this done before I pick up my car?

Uh? Remote start on an MT? Do you have to park the car in neutral for it to work?

My dealer did have it installed as soon as it arrived so from the first moment I got the car it was installed. My remote starter is a two way Nu-start which is a similar model to the compustar remote starters.

It works really well and I am really going to enjoy it tomorrow after with it being really cold here tomorrow.

By having the remote starter you give up the key fob identifying you as "driver 1" on a regular basis. You can get it to identify you as driver 1 if you want to change some of the car's settings. The only other thing that you give up is that the memory seats won't work off of the key fob. You would have to push the seat memory button. This was no biggie for me.

ps: I got your pm. np

Are there some Remote Starters for MT's that are hassle free? I know theyre a bit trickier than for AT's. But can they be as easy to use as an AT remote starter? I've done some research on some on the net. And have found there's not a whole lot of info. I'm hoping that there's 1 that is easy to use. Nothing complicated. Just shut off your engine like normal. Come back whenever and hit a button on the remote to start the engine up. and that's it. Is this possible?

How does it work? Does it take the car out of gear for you when you start remotely, or do you have to leave the car in neutral when you park it for the remote to work?

Indeed, one of the board members got his car driven into a wall by the valet remote starting his car. Guess the valet parked it in gear....

I've seen remote starters on MT's. It is very dangerous and most install shops either won't do it or frown heavily upon the idea.

If you insist on having RS for MT, I suggest wiring it so it will only start if the e-brake is engaged. A friend of mine had this done a few years back and it seemed to work fine. Just pray that your e-brake doesn't go nuts and your car jumps into (insert object here) !

I can't remember who it was here, but somebody had a valet launch his car into a wall once he started his MT car with the remote when it was in gear.

I believe it

I always park my car in first so this won't work for me.

Hmm... I'd think that with a hydraulic clutch like we have, you could relatively easily rig something up to keep the clutch disengaged for you until you get in the car and push the pedal down... but I'm not gonna bother.
