engine management
The engine management is the biggest issue. And frankly we are not intending to make our engine managmenet methods public information because then people can copycat it. Not trying to be a pain, but we are trying to avoid copycats. I can say that it's either a piggyback and very smart tricks on the ecu or Hondata... and one is cheaper and not as good as the other.

a/f for intercooled kit
The goal for any system on a stock engine is around 11-11.5:1 a/f because we absolutely MUST avoid catastrophic failures. It's possible we will offer a slightly meaner tune in the 12.2-12.5:1 area for those that want it, but getting closer to best torque fuel ratios means you can have problems more easily if something goes out of tune...and the difference in power may only be 10 hp.

open vs closed loop
On the a/f under boost, it's has to be forced into closed loop under boost, no matter what the TPS is seeing. Split Second has some cool stuff...we've looked at that stuff.... I've even done some in-depth work with them on turbo dodges and TRD products.
Anyway, the Honda/Acura supercharger systems will run open loop under boost.... the trick is in doing it right so there are no problems once it goes to production. I don't see a problem at this point.

early TSX supercharger system
Looks like we have another TSX donor car that is a 2004 model; so we'll be able to do some parallel development on ecu strategy. That will be nice...thanks Jason from Harrisburg.
So, I'm hopeful we'll be able to provide this system for all TSX years.

woops.... you are right. :)
Yes, it must be forced into open loop under boost. Thanks for pointing that out. It's getting late and I'm still at work... time to go home.
Thanks again.

which years, which trans......
Honestly I can't say exactly what we'll be able to apply our kits too. My thought is we'll try to do them all. If we can't there will be a good reason why. Chances are, all years of manuals will be available...even 05. But the automatic is a question mark. The big question to me on the auto trans is whether the auto trans and throttle are linked in some way. And it may not be a problem... I need to learn more about how the drive by wire is incorporated and be sure it's only pulling timing at shifts rather than using the electonic throttle or whatever.
I know there are 2 accel pedal sensors, 2 TB sensors...not sure why. But that's what the schematic shows. Without understanding the ecu code that controls it, it's all guessing. And the cruise is part of the DMW system that we have to understand somewhat too... otherwise we could cause malfunctions with that.
It's all fun and games until somebody looses their cruise.

It will be interesting to see how this goes...The Aussie market here is so restricted virtually nothing here for this type of stuff. I have been working with a company here to maximise the power of our TSX .... the Accord Euro. So far we have manged to get approx 207.86 hp at the wheels.... this includes an exhaust, extractors and Hondata ECU with help from Doug at Hondata who was here recently .....If you need and Aussie tester let me know....

I really hope that a system can be made for the 04 tsx cause I want to run a supercharger with an intercooler up front to fill our front bumper.
