The mods deleted their thread because they were not an authorized vendor on this forum.

I believe the last word from them was that their S/C kit was delayed.

since the SC is still a while off, they may become an official vendor when there's actually a point. i.e. they have a product to offer the community.

no need for the 'redshit' tag IMO lol

I am working with them as they are going to do the first supercharger on an automatic tsx on my car. last I heard about 3 weeks ago they estimated that they would start on mine about end of february to the middle of march. I sent the another email earlier this week and have not heard back yet.

Worse yet, us TSX mods let it go on for way to long. Guess we left our brains in our other pair of pants.

why not just go for the comptech?

they're on special at the moment and comptech seems to be a very trustworthy company. If acura trusts them enough to sell their parts at dealerships I'd have more faith that their supercharger would do less damage to the engine in the long term.

I lost all hope on all these big talkers. We are going to develope turbo, superchager, blah blah and here we are with nothing. I just laugh at them because I know its not going to happen. I really thought about it and spending $5000-8000 is pure stupid! I rather trade in for a g35. I'm just going wait few years and trade it for new g or IS 350..

Knock on wood man.. At least for us that got stuck with a 05at. I had no other choice on the tranny. One of the last 05 CGP is probably what I got, according to the stealership. I still have hope, but if things dont work out I will probably end up gettting a 04 ecu.

I was about to start pouring money into performance mods but honestly its not really worth it to me. If I wanted a fast car I should of bought something else to begin with. Im planning on paying the car off within the next 3 years and then tradiing it in for a IS350 or the new redesigned Accord coupe thats coming out. Maybe another TSX if its offered with a turbo and doesnt end up looking like a 4 door civic

I've been following everything on clubXXX and I don't think the RSX and Si kits are done yet.

Here are the lastest pics of the RSX kit:

The Si kit still needs to get tuned by Hondata and one of the owners had a family emergency so that's getting delayed. I'm still really curious how Red Shift is going to get around the current engine management obstacles. I'm hoping Hondata has figured some things out and will be able to take care of it for the TSX kit.

i dont think jackson racing is going to be doing anything for the tsx anytime soon...and most likely if they do do something for the tsx its not going to be something 07 or lower. maybe on newer models.

I dunno but if someone gets a reflash working for another type of s/c, a rotrex s/c with custom reflash and fittings should be possible.

They are going to be using the Lysholm 1600 AX Twin Screw supercharger. I think they're supposed to be really good and very efficient. The Koenigsegg CC8S uses a twin screw

i hope this isn't the case but this company will probably end up disappearing.. at least when it comes to the TSX kit.

they post an update on their site every few weeks with no new info except that the civic kits are delayed.. now they're saying the civic kits won't be available until the end of april.

then they have to work on the RSX, that's going to take months + many months of their constant "delays".

so far not even a dyno or any real power numbers have been shown.. if they are taking pre-orders like they say they should AT LEAST have already tested and dyno'd plenty of times to post some real numbers -- they only post updates about their usual delays..+

you'd think they'd at least post a picture with a charger mounted on this supposed civic, which they've been working on for what seems like forever.

i'm not trying to put the red shift down, i hope they do put out a kit for the TSX and many other acuras/hondas, but as of right now i'm loosing hope because of the constant delays and the lack of real info/facts about the kits. i'll remain skeptical until more info is revealed.

I understand your pessimism and I don't know this for a fact but they've said their intention the whole time has been to make the kit universal so it would just bolt right up on our tsx. If thats true then as long as the civic kit gets done then we should be golden

Sorry, but even if they do put in the effort into creating a bolt-on S/C kit for our cars, IMO that's far and away the easy part. The hard part will definitely be engine management, and this will have little to nothing to do with Red Shift.

Hondata will have to create a custom fuel mapping table, adjust cam angles, and figure out a way to incorporate larger fuel injectors into the Red Shift S/C system. I believe Hondata already ran into the latter issue with the Comptech S/C, thus it used modified stock injectors. This is why the Comptech S/C only boosted 5psi.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see another S/C kit out there for our cars. I've been craving more power for a while. Still, I really wouldn't get your hopes up for this kit coming out any time soon, particularly the Stage 2 kit. In fact, I'll be EXTREMELY surprised if that one comes out this year...
