Is that pricing per pair? ie: order 1 for front and 1 for rear is a full set? I'd be up for 4 matching slotted sometime...

Anyone see these two peice rotors for the tsx.. They are 300mm x 28mm and with a hefty price of 280.00 or something like that each.. But they would be nice to have with the rear set..

How's the 2-piece compared to the standard RB rotors for the TSX?

Edit: Never mind, found the 2-piece rotors:

Damn, the 2-piece rotors are $280 each? That's like $560 for the fronts alone! The circular vane cooling might make it all worth it though!

Yeah, they are expensive, but very high performance and light weight with the aluminum hats. Also, RBs exclusive center mounting pattern is an industry rarity. The main advantage is teh weight savings.

Keep in mind, the regular UP rotors have the curved vanes as well!!! For most of us, the one-piece UPs are going to be a more-than-adequite performance upgrade!!!

It may have something to do with the inherent weaknesses of drilled rotors, and the fact that the front rotors do a lot more work when stopping the car than the rears do, so they are not as easy to design drilled rotors for that will offer a performance upgrade as well, or even be safe to use in performance driving. I think the braking bias on the TSX is about 75/25 F/R under heavy braking (per StopTech's website), so the rear rotors can get by more easily with blinging drilled rotors but not the fronts. But really, I have no idea.

Good assessment. But actually, about 3 months ago Racingbrake found out one of the rotors from another car actually fits the rear of the TSX, so they put it in their catalog. As is so happens, that rotor is only available in drilled and slotted, while only slotted are sold for the front. It did not match, so many people did not buy them. That is why they came out with slotted only rears.

Another fact is, the quality and build material of all Racingbrake rotors dispells many of the weaknesses we know of on drill rotors. They are actually very strong and not prone to cracking like many others out there.
